1. Weather

The National Weather Service's forecast for today is areas of fog with a high of 66 degrees. Tonight's forecast is a 30 percent chance of showers with a low of 50.

2. Filling the Tank

The lowest gas price in the Fenton area on Sunday night was $3.77 per gallon, according to MichiganGasPrices.com. The station offering this price was Beacon & Bridge Market at 3011 W. Thompson Rd., Fenton Township. The second-lowest price was $3.79 per gallon, at the Marathon at 1375 N. Leroy St., Fenton.

3. News

The holidays are coming up, and area businesses are hiring seasonal workers, the Tri-County Times reports. The number of seasonal employees could be 700,000 this year, up from last year’s 660,000.

4. Events

The Fenton Township Board meets today at 7:30 p.m., at the township hall at 12060 Mantawauka Dr., Fenton Township.

5. Looking Ahead

The Mega March for Animals will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, at Kensington Metropark. It’s the largest walk for animals in Michigan, and it helps Michigan Humane Society continue lifesaving programs for thousands of animals.
