Nearly 4,000 Linden Consumers customers were without power Thursday afternoon because of little furry creature.
A squirrel tripped a main fuse to a substation, knocking out power all around the city, including the schools, which were forced to cancel all activities, according to the Flint Journal. Power was expected to be restored for most customers around 4:30 p.m.

The post also stated that Fenton schools experienced a power "blink" just before 1 p.m.
It also caused some Linden businesses to close. The Linden Sweet Shoppe posted, "Downtown has lost power. We are closing for the day. We will be open tomorrow at noon" around 1 p.m.
Calabria Village Pizzeria and Party Store stayed open, however and posted "YES, we are here making pizzas!"
