Community Celebrates the Fourth at Fenton Freedom Festival
New Firecracker Fun Run, parade, and activities at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center are highlights.
The Firecracker Fun Run is a new event at the Fenton Freedom Festival. It began at 9:45 a.m., just before the parade.

Despite the heat, people are busy celebrating Independence Day at the Fenton Freedom Festival.
So far, the day has included the new Firecracker Fun Run, the big parade and activities at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center. And there's more to come, ending with the fireworks at 10 p.m., which people can see from along Silver Parkway.
