Fenton's B&C Pharmacy Robbed Again
Pharmacy has been robbed four times since Jan. 20, 2011.
Fenton's B&C Pharmacy continues to be a target of thieves.
Police say thieves robbed the store on Silver Lake Road for the fourth time since Jan. 20, 2011 during the early morning hours of April 2. This robbery occurred when the store was closed and it is believed the suspects exited through the back door, the Flint Journal reported. The thieves took several prescription painkillers such as oxycontin and fentnyl packs, the article stated, and police are looking at surveillance footage.
In the last incident, on Aug. 31, 2011 Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said the manager of the store called police just before 6 p.m. and said a man had entered the store handed an employee a note reading, “give me the oxy” and then he walked around the counter and pulled up his shirt revealing a black semi-automatic pistol in his belt. The manager said he had grabbed three bottles of the drug from the back of the store and handed them to the suspect, who then sprayed the manager with a substance similar to pepper spray, Aro said.
Tyler Earl Fischer-Greenfield, of Holly was arrested in Independence Township in March 2011 after police say he was involved in two armed robberies at B&C in January and February of 2011.
