Fenton area residents and businesses can help the hungry by lacing up their sneakers for the Oct. 14 CROP Hunger Walk, or by making a donation.
CROP stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, and 25 percent of donations received stays in the Fenton area community.
The 32nd Fenton/Lake Fenton/Linden/Holly CROP Hunger Walk will take place Oct. 14, at Bush Park. Registration is at 1:30 p.m.
Any and all businesses or individuals are welcome to walk, share literature and trinkets with the walkers, and/or to staff a water or game station. According to the event website, $375 has been donated online so far.
