"We've been getting phenomenal service," Cairnduff said.
Ambulance response times are less than five minutes for Tier I life threatening emergencies, he said. In addition, STAT EMS participates in public relations events for Fenton and supports other organizations and causes in the community.
Fenton administrators review STAT EMS' performance regularly and receive monthly reports, he said. It's good to have the contract renewed yearly, in case of any issues. There haven't been problems, Cairnduff added.
The city needs to notify STAT EMS in October that it would like to renew the contract for another year, he said. Linden's fire chief intends to have the same type of discussion with the firm, which also supplies ambulance services in the city of Linden.
