A 23-year-old Fenton man was transported to Genesys Regional Medical Center Wednesday night after a truck crash on Silver Lake Road near Silver Parkway, police said.

Chief Rick Aro said the man was driving his 1997 Ford truck westbound on Silver Lake Road around 8:15 p.m. when he attempted to turn left onto Silver Parkway, but failed to yield and was struck by a 1999 Ford pickup truck, which was traveling eastbound on Silver Lake Road.

The Fenton man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Aro said. The man also had two Fenton male passengers, ages 22 and 21, in the vehicle, who were uninjured. The driver of the 1999 Ford pickup, a 21-year-old Linden resident, was also uninjured.
