It's not everyday you see more than 100 men strutting around the mall in women's shoes, but that was exactly the case at Tanger Outlets in Howell on Saturday.

Men gathered to support LACASA's 7th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event, to raise money and sexual assault awareness while carrying signs that said, "I am man enough to walk in her shoes," and "Uncomfortable, but worth it."

Fenton's Mike Zalewski strapped on a pair of heels for the first time.

"It was important to do something and actually it was a lot of fun," he said.

According to LACASA Development Director, Julie Smith, this year's fundraiser raised about $18,000 after a preliminary count after the event.
