Fenton Winery & Brewery Expansion Moving Along
Business to add an additional 3,600 square feet.
More beer. More wine. More fun.
The Fenton Winery & Brewery (FWB) is staying at their current location, but that location will become a bit bigger with a 3,600 square foot expansion.
The business has taken over an adjoining suite and begun renovations. The majority of the space will be used to increase current production and to add space for larger private parties.
Founded in 2007, FWB has become a favorite neighborhood place to meet up with friends and family to enjoy handcrafted wines and micro-brewed beers. Complimenting the award winning winery & brewery’s craft beverages are snacks, live entertainment and many monthly community events. Owners Matt and Ginny Sherrow say they wanted to create a quaint and relaxing atmosphere where people could truly unwind.
In just three years, FWB has become a hub of community activity, hosting weekly and monthly events in collaboration with area non profit groups as well as other local businesses. In addition, they feature only local musicians for their weekend live music.
“We like to support the community, to be a place where people connect” said Ginny Sherrow.
The additional space will allow FWB to meet the growing demand for their craft beers and wines. Their beer offering will grow from seven to 12, wines will be added on tap and more events will be planned. The added space will allow FWB to accommodate more private showers, birthday parties, Christmas parties and beer & wine tasting fundraisers.
Ginny Sherrow explained that they “wanted to accommodate more private parties, but still maintain business hours for serving.”
