Fenton Winery & Brewery owner Ginny Sherrow said the most common question she was asked at the 14th Annual Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Beer Festival was, "Where is Fenton?"

She was glad to answer that question, while her husband Matt or one of the many volunteers served up a three-ounce sample of Ignescent Amber, Staggering Imperial Nut Brown or Beach Head's Belgain Tripel.

The brewery was one of 62 that served up more than 450 different beers representing more than 60 different styles at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti Friday and Saturday.

Overall, the Sherrows said the festival went well and were happy to be a part of it.

Business in general has been good for the Sherrows as well. They recently announced they will be expanding the facility with a new lounge/bar area, an expanded tap selection, and much needed additional production space. They plan to have the new areas opened by October.
