The National Weather Service's forecast for today is patchy fog with a high of 78 degrees. Tonight's forecast is mostly clear with a low of 56.

The lowest gas prices in Fenton on Tuesday afternoon were $3.87 per gallon, according to Mapquest Gas Prices. Stations offering this price were Owen Road BP Food Shop, 3238 Owen Rd.; Speedway #8405 (discount available), 3245 Owen Rd.; Sunoco, 3325 Owen Rd., and Speedway #5509 (discount available), 3340 Owen Rd.
3. News
Tropical Storm Isaac could cause increases in gas prices in Michigan, by 25 cents per gallon by this time next week, Brighton Patch reports. The National Hurricane Center predicts that Isaac will hit an area southwest of New Orleans, to the edge of the Florida panhandle.
4. Events
A free, one-hour Playground Workout will begin at 6 p.m. today, at Bush Park, 250 N. Leroy St. in Fenton. It's offered by Shaped By Shawn's Shawn Stevens, who asks that participants bring their own mat and a set of weights (3-8 pounds are recommended). The workout will include swings, picnic tables, benches and equipment that Stevens may bring, such as jump ropes and medicine balls.

The Reunion with a Cause fundraiser to help cancer patients at Genesys has been rescheduled, The Holly Express reports. This year's event will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 15010 N. Holly Rd. and First Baptist Church of Holly, 15030 N. Holly Rd., both in Holly.
