Believe it or not, it's almost time to go back to school.

Fenton Patch has answers to questions like "when does school start for Lake Fenton?" and all the important dates you need to know to complete the 'things to do before school starts' list.

Aug. 15 - Meet the teams night, 7 to 8 p.m. at Lake Fenton High School

Aug. 23 - Senior registration 8 to 10 a.m., Junior registration 10 a.m. to noon, Sophomore registration 1 to 3 p.m. at Lake Fenton High School.

Aug. 28 - West Shore Open House, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 4 - First day of school

Sept. 6 - Torrey Hill Open House, 6 to 8 p.m.

Sept. 26 - Torrey Hill Student Picture Day

Oct. 11/12 - Parent teacher conferences

Nov. 2 - End of first marking period
