A small gluten-free section at Nutrition Works just isn’t meeting demands. The store has plans to expand the section to help meet customers’ needs.

However, not only will you find gluten-free foods, supplements and vitamins at the family-owned store in Fenton, you will also find a staff concerned about your health.

“We want to find what works best for them,” said manager Tracey Comis. “We really care about people. We try really hard to make people happy.”

The alternative health store has been located at 2815 West Silver Lake Road for seven years and has aimed to help people improve their health. Nutrition Works offers a wide selection of high quality supplements, homeopathy, aromatherapy, gluten-free foods, mineral makeup and natural body care products.  They also have two experienced massage therapists, who offer a variety of therapeutic bodywork.

Soon customers will be able to join a Nature's Sunshine membership club to receive discounted supplements.

"The promotion next month will allow people to buy the Nature's Sunshine products at member cost so they can experience their quality at much less than retail prices," Comis said.

If something isn’t on the shelf, Comis said the staff will make special orders.

“We infuse our store with love and bless our supplements with a little prayer before they are placed on the shelves, and it seems people can really feel that,” Comis said.

Comis has claimed the business listing on Fenton Patch and has added some photos of the store. Business owners can do the same by claiming their listing on Fenton Patch. It's free!

Walking into Nutrition Works is a joy! I always want to take the smell in the air with me back home as it is so inviting. I have a gluten allergy as well as allergies to dairy and I can only tolerate soy in small amounts. I have gotten many wonderful products,, well priced, off the gluten free sections shelves. I look very much forward to the expansion of the product lines. Thank you. Mary
