Old Fenton Fire Hall, ReSale 360 Lead Busy Year in Fenton Business
There was plenty of business news in Fenton during 2012.
Here is a look at some of the businesses profiled by Fenton Patch in 2012.
Old Fenton Fire Hall
The top business news in Fenton in 2012 had to be the old Fenton Fire Hall. The Fenton Downtown Development Authority had a lease agreement with Michigan Brewing Company officials, but after many delays, the DDA eventually terminated the lease after MBC officials were evicted from their headquarters in Webberville.
The DDA accepted four new applications and finally chose the Clarkston Union owners over the Arbor Brewing Company to renovate the building. Now the Clarkston Union owners are set to begin construction.
Another big story in 2012 came when ReSale 360 closed. Fenton Police received more than 100 complaints about the Fenton ReSale 360 shop, which closed its doors, but many consignors said they were owed money or property. Police investigated the complaints, but no charges were made.

Owners Matt and Ginny Sherrow won an online auction for the former Creative Wood Property and plan to move operations to the new location.
Many suitors have tried to gather funds to resurrect the old Fenton Cinema, but none have been successful.
