ReSale 360 Owner: Pick up Items by Saturday

Donna Hitz said all remaining items would be donated to charity if not picked up by this weekend.

ReSale 360 owner Donna Hitz said consignors need to make arrangements to pick up items the Fenton store by Saturday, or they will be donated charity.

She said she has tried to contact everyone in her records, but hasn't made contact with everyone.

"Most of it is gone," Hitz said. "But there are still a few things."

Hitz said she would like to clear the store, so she can begin returning items in the Brighton store. She has already begun to gather items and contact Brighton store consignors.

She said she won't be handing out checks, just consignors items. Hitz has asked consignors to email Donna.Hitz@Gmail.com to make an appointment.

Hitz said the remaining merchandise would be donated to St. Michael's Parish in Flint.

Fenton Police have received more than 80 complaints from residents stating they are owed money or property. Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said police will give Hitz a chance to give back the items before the investigation continues.

Why is she giving back the items in the Brighton store if the store is sold? Or was this another one of Donna's lies?

Last I heard the Brighton store had not been sold. Owners had a buyer lined up, but that buyer was awaiting their own property sale. The deal had not been completed.

Wow, Ms. Hitz is really being awful about this whole ordeal!! Giving people ONE day to pick up items, or they will be donated? Really????

Cathy,
the date of this article is April 17th. Saturday is April 21st. Per my math, that's 4 days, not just one.
I'm beyond tired of the consignors hammering on the negative.

Wow, Cathy, where have you been? The fact that Tom and Donna Hitz have been collecting and returning goods to consignors has been reported in the newspapers, here on Patch, on the radio and on TV for the last three weeks.

One day, Four days, two weeks.....aren't we splitting hairs on the detail of returns. The Hitz's are lucky to not be in jail. They sold my dining room table for $780, pocketed the money and have yet to send me a dime. So sorry if I and some of the other consignors are "hammering on the negative".....but I am out quite a bit of money. P.S. I witnessed the Hitz's taking in merchandise the DAY before they closed the doors. They are outrageous!

Sherry you need to visit the Fenton Police they are investigating before criminal charges are filed. They have asked anyone owed money to file a complaint with them.
