Be prepared for a slippery, sloppy morning commute as snow, sleet and freezing rain move into the area late tonight into tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service in White Lake.

Snow tonight will transition to a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain after 1 a.m. as temperatures slowly warm and hover around freezing overnight.

A glazing of ice along with minor snow accumulation is expected for the Wednesday morning commute, according to the weather service. Drivers should exercise caution on the roads.
