State Bank Sets Up Fund for Loose Senior Center Recovery

The banks also donated $2,500 to the account.

The State Bank has set up a fund to take donations for the Loose Senior Center.

The Fenton Press reported donations can be made at the Fenton, Linden, Grand Blanc or Holly branches. The article stated the bank also donated $2,500 to the account.

A fire destroyed two of the senior center's main buildings on Sept. 30.

Fenton Patch reported that residents were saddened by the fire and that Lasco Ford, in Fenton, contributed a $10,000 check and is donating $25 per car sold.

The center, which had nearly 4,000 members, cancelled all classes until further notice, but have resumed fitness classes at Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 Silver Lake Road.
