GCAC to Host Special Pet Adoption Event 6-8-13!

Genesee County Animal Control (GCAC) is holding a SPECIAL PET ADOPTION EVENT on Sat., June 8, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Take advantage of this special opportunity, as GCAC isn’t usually open on Saturdays. The shelter is FULL, so you’ll have a variety of wonderful temperament-tested dogs/puppies and cats/kittens to choose from. Featured this week: Three adorable 6-week-old kittens are ready for adoption or rescue. They were bottle-fed and are now climbing, playing, and ready for a loving home of their own! 1. Bengal/ tabby (short hair): Dominant stripes and mostly gray-- an explorer and independent. Fears nothing and is the ringleader. 2. Gray/ white (medium hair) with somewhat fluffy mane. Very much a cuddler and only gets upset when attacked by his siblings. 3. Dilute tortie (long hair) with white mask and socks. Likes to explore but not as daring as the bengal/tabby and loves to have his head scratched. If interested, please contact Tammy: tambeal04@yahoo.com. Also, check out the flyer featuring some of the wonderful temperament-tested dogs/puppies and cats/kittens that are available for adoption. ******************************************* BONUS: Meet Jake, a 5-month-old, unaltered pit (mix?) with gorgeous ice-blue eyes, who wandered into a garage on Friday. The homeowner took him to the vet, got him started on shots, and had him dewormed. But she cannot keep him. She says he has the best butt wag in town! He plays well with her two labs but can get really excited. If interested, please contact Lisa at 810-287-0521. He needs to be placed ASAP to avoid going to the shelter. ****************************************** Please join us THIS Saturday at GCAC. WHEN: Saturday, JUNE 8, 2013 TIME: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
