Fenton City Offices Closed by Winter Storm Hercules; No Decision Yet on School Tuesday

Genesee County is one of the hardest hit areas in a wicked winter storm that will deliver wind chills far below zero.

If you want to go to Fenton City Hall today, you won’t find the doors open. Fenton schools are also closed as Genesee County digs out from Winter Storm Hercules, which dumped up to 17 inches of snow in some areas.

Police, fire and public works departments will be staffed as usual, according to a notice on the city’s web site.

The city council work session scheduled for tonight has been postponed for a later date.
