Heavy Rainfall Causes Flooding on North Leroy

Motorists drove through standing water on in Fenton Tuesday morning, as rain accumulated in the

owner Matt Sherrow said the production area of the business flooded and it took him hours to dry it out.

Many others observed flooding in the area as well and posted on the Fenton Patch Facebook Page.

Jessica Weston Haney posted, "Flooding in the industrial park off of Owen Road and Silver Lake Road. I saw several stranded vehicles, and just managed to get my mini-van through the flooding. Avoid that section!"

Nicole Higgins Maddock said, "My yard is a mess!! Never flooded like this before! Wow!"

By afternoon, most puddles had dried up again, leaving some mulch left out of place in the parking lot by
