Fenton's Sakura Buffet Offers a Variety of Tastes

Restaurant on Silver Parkway opened earlier this month.

Hungry patrons can choose from more than 200 items at the newly opened Sakura buffet in Fenton.

The Chinese, Japanese and American menu is available at 17055 Silver Parkway from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

“We have something for everyone,” said manager Simon Lin.

That includes a full sushi bar and hibachi grill where the food is cooked in front of patrons.

 “A lot of people like the sushi,” Lin said.

The lunch buffet costs $6.99 for adults ($3.99 for children 3 to 7, $4.99 for ages 8 to 11) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then the dinner buffet kicks in from 4 to 10 p.m. with an $11.99 price tag ($4.99 for children 4 to 7 and $5.99 for kids 8 to 11).  Children under 3 eat for free.

 The restaurant also offers a daily special deal.

We've been to Sakara once and found it to be very good -- appeared to be very clean, food kept fresh and hot and everything we tried was very good. We don't eat Sushi, but even so -- it looked fresh and tempting. Hope they keep up the good work and don't let the quality and freshness slide when they're not so busy. All staff people were very helpful and friendly.

Actually I have been there a couple of times for lunch since I work on the Parkway. I was pleased with the selection. At $3.99/pound for a to-go container, not a bad deal at all. I am sampling many different things including the sushi. All good so far. Some of the staff needs to learn the language a bit better but they are all very pleasant. The management seems to be a bit stressed but that does come with opening a new restaurant.

HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE, WENT THERE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AT 8:30 ONLY 5 PEOPLE INSIDE FOOD WAS OVERCOOKED AND LOOKED OLD.SUSHI WAS ON ONE PLATE AND NOT BEING KEPT COLD,EVEN DIET PEPSI TASTED BAD.THE HELP TOOK OUR MONEY WHILE EATING THIER FOOD.GOOD LUCK WITH THIS PLACE,HORRIBLE!!!!

Just had a horrible experience trying to order carry out. The woman barely spoke English and I wasted 5-10 min talking in circles only to get hung up on. Stellar service... Right. I won't be ordering from there again.
