Fenton's Sawyer Jewelers Offers Many Gifts for Your Valentine

The store is celebrating its 65th anniversary.

When looking for a nice piece of jewelry to give to a loved one on Valentine’s Day, many area residents turn to in Fenton — and have been doing so for 65 years.

“We have third generations coming in here,” said Chip Beltinck, who owns and operates Sawyer’s with his wife, Mary Ann.

One of the longtime customers is Fenton resident Toni Conti.

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid,” she said. “They are very good.”

The service is what keeps people coming back to Sawyer’s, the Beltincks said.

The store not only sells jewelry but offers repairs, customized jewelry and appraisals. It will also take vintage pieces of jewelry and turn them into new pieces that can be passed down generations.

“We have a diverse selection and offer a variety of services,” Chip Beltinck said. “We offer a lot of things other jewelry stores won’t, and we do it in a way that keeps people coming back.”

The jewelry shop will celebrate its 65th anniversary this year, but right now, the focus is on Valentine’s Day.

The store has deals on heart pendants, sterling silver bracelets or — if you are looking to pop the question or celebrate an anniversary — diamond rings.

“Valetine’s Day is more of sentimental holiday,” Mary Ann Beltinck said. “It’s a great will-you-marry-me day.’”

In addition to its Valentine’s Day jewelry sale, Sawyer’s is offering a blue dot 40 percent off sale and will host a Chamilia Valentine's Trunk Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Beltincks have claimed their on Fenton Patch and are able to add photos, events and specials to the site at no cost. Business owners can do the same by claiming their listing on Fenton Patch.
