Fenton The UPS Store Donates $1,000 to Loose Senior Center

During the month of February, the store donated $1 to the senior center for every package shipped via UPS.

The UPS Store located at 17195 Silver Parkway, in Fenton raised nearly $900 for the Loose Senior Citizens Center (LSCC) to help meet future needs of the organization.

During the month of February, the Fenton The UPS Store donated $1 to the senior center for every package shipped via UPS.  Franchise owner Les Beare added to the contributions to make it an even $1,000. 

“Loose Senior Citizens Center serves our local community, which is why I support it,” said Beare. “We are proud to be able to serve the community in this manner and to help raise awareness of the needs of the senior center.”

The LSCC mission is to provide and coordinate responsive programs and services, which enhance the dignity, support, independence, and offer stimulating and meaningful opportunities for adults over 50, living in the Southern Lakes region.

“We appreciate the support and generosity of The UPS Store,” said Carl Gabrielson of LSCC. “As the senior community grows, we hope to expand our facilities to serve them, so this donation will definitely come in handy.”
