Fenton The UPS Store to Donate $1 to Loose Senior Center for Every Package Sent Next Month

Business will also accept donations that will be turned over the center.

The UPS Store, located at 17195 Silver Parkway, in Fenton is teaming up with the in Linden to help meet the future goals of the senior center.

Through February 29th, the Fenton location will donate $1 for every UPS package shipped. 

“We hope to ship many packages during the month,” said Les Beare, The UPS Store owner.  “With the help of our customers, we will donate $1 for every package shipped through us in February.  We hope to raise a significant amount to help the progress of the reconstruction of the Senior Center which benefits the seniors in Linden and Fenton.”

Carl Gabrielson, of Loose Senior Center, stated that although they have insurance money for the buildings that burned, but they will soon be running out of space for all of their daily activities for the local senior community.  The 26,000 square foot Loose project that has been in the plans for many years is scheduled to be completed by September 2015 with the continued support of community. 

The UPS Store will also accept cash donations which will be turned over to the center.
