Hometown Urgent Care to Open Thursday in Fenton

Business will host celebration from 4 to 7 p.m.

One of the fastest growing urgent care companies in the Midwest is coming to Fenton.

is set to open Thursday.

The Fenton center opens on Thursday and is located at 3220 West Silver Lake Road (At West Silver Lake Road and Silver Parkway).  The community is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration on Feb. 16  from 4 to 7 p.m.

Hometown is a fully-equipped Urgent Care and Occupational Health Center.  It is a full service facility with onsite X-rays, Labs, EKG’s and prescriptions  This includes treatment for minor injuries such as minor fractures, lacerations, sprains, infections and common illnesses such as flu, cold, coughs and congestion.

Hometown also offers health services for employers such as work injuries, physicals, DOT/Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing and specialized testing that is industry specific.

Hometown Urgent Care will be open seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“We work with local ERs across the Midwest to make our quality healthcare affordable and convenient. While ERs are important for life threatening conditions, ERs are over utilized and overburdened with minor injuries and illnesses which can be taken care of in a full-service facility like Hometown Urgent Care,” stated Brian Barberic, Director of Marketing for Hometown Urgent Care.

“The average wait time here at Hometown is less that one quarter the wait time for the ER.  The cost can be up to 88% less than the ER, and the co-pay is usually one third of the ER.  Compared to the ER, each visit will save, on average, over $1,000 in healthcare costs.”

Hometown Urgent Care has many other programs that are offered to the community. “

We are very proud of our Primary Care Communication Program,” Barberic said.  “It allows your Hometown Urgent Care physician to communicate with your primary care physician for continuity of care. This increased availability of medical services, when the primary care physician is not available after office hours and on weekends, is very valuable to the community.”
