Halo Burger fans will have to wait a couple days for the opening of the restaurant's new location.
Halo Burger will open a new location just a few short blocks away from its present location at 1464 N. Leroy St.in a building formerly occupied by a Burger King franchise at 1355 N. Leroy St.
Because of unforeseen complications, Halo Burger is not able to open on Monday, Jan. 7, however, the restaurant will open on Wednesday, Jan. 9, according to a news release.
The newly purchased building will not only offer Halo Burger more visibility with a freestanding location, but additional space for patrons with more seating and a play space for youth.
"With this larger facility we feel better equipped to accommodate Fenton, Linden and its surrounding communities,” said Lou Dortch Jr. of Dortch Enterprises. “We are also eager to provide a more comfortable, updated environment to our customers. We've been in the Fenton community for many years and this relocation just made sense."
