Its Time to Stand

It's about time we stand up to our government and remind them that they need to fear US.

Did you know that starting in 2013, 48% of our money earned from working...let me reiterate that, 48% of our hard earned money will be taken from us in taxes straight from our paychecks. And on top of that, 1% of our hard earned money will be taken from our paychecks, or any checks, just to use the bank?

That means a grand-total of 49%. Sure, tax returns will be bigger, but remember that 1% the banks will automatically take to give to the government? If you have a tax return of $5,000, what's 1% of that? $500 you will never see, just to pay for our government to wear fancy suits and sit in overstuffed chairs to decide what to tax us on next.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we start this country by getting rid of taxes? By standing up to the government and telling them this is not what we want?

I think we're a bit overdue, don't you?

We need to stand and fight. We need to tell our government, which by the way, is supposed to be FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, that we don't want these taxes. We don't need them. At this point, if all that money is taken, will it really be worth going to work? Will you be able to pay your bills with the rising prices of gas and everything else? I'm sorry, but I can't wait for a tax return once a year, and neither are my bills.

Start voicing your opinion. Things won't fix themselves. They never do. It's time for a justified uprise. If we all said NO, if we all said this isn't right, we could make the change we want.

Speaking of change, were you aware that Obamacare will fine us if we choose not to pay for it? That's right, our president just made one more thing to take our money. And even more money will be taken from your paycheck to pay for something you may not even want. And I don't know about you, but I really don't want that.

It frightens me now to think about being able to afford continuing my college education, but after all this that is planned to happen, I feel like I will only be getting a job to pay for them. I shouldn't feel like that. Nobody should feel like that.

I'm only 21. I may not understand everything there is to know about how government works, but I know right from wrong. And I was taught that it is wrong to take something from someone when what you're taking is not rightfully yours. I was also taught to stand up for myself. And here I am, standing up and voicing my opinions while it's still legal. And if the day comes when that is no longer legal, I guess I'm gonna go down fighting.

The world may just come to an end this year if we don't stand up for ourselves and fight for what is right. I am not going to let my government rule over my life. I pray you won't either.

The change we want can only be done by us, not a man in the White House. 

I realize this blog will offend some people, perhaps spark some nasty comments, but that's OK with me. My goal is to get you thinking. To get you MAD! I want to make a difference and if this is the only way I can do it, then I welcome what you have to say! But don't be quiet! Voice yourself!

And if you agree with me that this isn't right, that we shouldn't let all of our money be taken from us, TAKE A STAND! I will stand beside you. And we won't be alone. People follow by example. Let's be the example.
