On The Road With Donna - Spring has Sprung!

Now I am looking forward to finishing up the yard work, planting the flowers, putting in the garden and having nights sitting around the bon fire.

Wow! Really! March??? 80s?? Michigan?! Platelet's, global warming or the good old Farmers Almanac prediction? Doesn't matter. They were all correct. Hot and humid to come with lots of bugs. I'm not complaining. I have enjoyed the mild winter and not having to worry about traveling the roads and the other drivers around me so much as usual.

Now I am looking forward to finishing up the yard work, planting the flowers, putting in the garden and having nights sitting around the bon fire. Cutting grass is great the first few times then I will grumble a little. Thankfully I have a great hubby and daughter that will pitch in to help.

The other great part about this wonderful weather- yard sales!! estate sales !! auctions!!!! My junking continues with more places to check out and bring home treasures to resell or refurbish my home. The other exciting news is I am filling at when things get busy. Everyone there has been part of the family for years and I look forward to this!

Today I am traveling to Maple Road and then Van Slyke road to check out the treasures in two other consignment / auction stores while doing my massages in between. Then off to the range to meet some friends before returning home to bbq. Yes! grilling! all part of the sun filled days and warm nights.

The farm is bursting with cows to butcher and chickens and ducks have gone insane laying eggs. Need meat? Need eggs? Let me know. They are not our animals, but our friends and we love spending time with them. Brings back memories of our farm days.

I really as you can see am rambling this morning as I type and listen to the birds and watch the squirrels run up and down the trees and chipmunks frolic in the lawn. I think it is spring fever not only for them but me as well.

Everyone have a great day and check out . Jason is a fabulous person and writer and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Take care.D
