On The Road With Donna - Where Has Summer Gone.......

concerts, traves, fairs, canning, more, massage

Time sure has flown since my last blog and I apologize for taking so long. There just does not seem to be enough time in the day or night sometimes. It has been a truly hot and fast summer. We watered our garden for many hours a night throughout the drought and with the four yards of compost we tiled in we had a wonderful bounty of harvest. This was great with winter coming but canning and freezing will be happily ending soon as this lady is SICK of it. I love the salsa and veggies all done up and not having to worry what is actually in it though.

As for the summer travels we had many quick trips to Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, the upper peninsula,up north and some little towns that are best kept secrets. Our favorite trip was Breyerfest held at the Kentucky Horse Park. My daughters and I enjoys Lexington and everything going on and came home with so many memories and horses we are signed up to do it all over again next year.

The grand kids are growing and my son is as busy as my husband making sure everything is getting accomplished before winter hits. Burning wood is a big chore and anyone that has wood they want to get rid of please feel free to message me.This country girl appreciates the warmth.

weddings were also abundant this year with open houses and births. we welcomed another Zeiler into the family, and a Bentley, Goyette, Vanconent, Eichenberg, and a few more. The joys of that I do, the fresh birth of a baby, and the anticipation of youth looking into the future really brings smiles to our faces.

Work is always a good thing for me. I love the people I work with at all the locations I go.There is no job that is not as equal as the next and my friends and clients are wonderful people. They are like my family and I always look forward to seeing them.

Massage therapy is going well at Total wellness chiropractic in Linden, Loose Center, Burton Senior Center, and my auto injury cases which I travel for. In between all these I work with all my friends at in Fenton and have a wonderful change of pace. Last but never least I continue to market and set up Holistic nights at businesses and homes with readers, massages, vendors, singers, and paranormal investigators. Can we say I am versatile?? I would think so.west branch ladies night was a hoot with the ladies and readings too.

Anyways, on top of this I have started the pre winter yard work and took down the tired looking hanging flowers , refilled the hummingbird feeders, did a quick trim on the tree branches smacking everyone in the faces, and put away some misc flower pots. Next week the garden should be done except for the squash and some late tomatoes and I can pull the plants for the chickens to feast on.The worm bed is rich with fat squiggly worms as they have been fed well this summer.

I can say we have had very few mosquito's with the heat, dryness and the abundance of bats from the barns.Next year the bee houses go up and a array of new bird houses. I did learn the hard way about a mama wren that thought she has full right on my presence in the yard when trying to leave for work to dive bomb me.Her little home is now moved. Then of course my daughter brings home kittens.......what a story those two have accumulated.I will fill you in soon.

Take care. Feel free to schedule your massages at any of the listed locations or come shopping at Fratz Consignment in Fenton. Need a night out? Then head To in Fenton Sept 8th and enjoy a great meal, drinks and get a reading , massage and more at our fair from 6 to 10 pm. Other then this I look forward to seeing you all soon in my travels.D.
