On The Road With Donna - Working with Others

I love seeing how many good people there really still are in this world.

Hello all!

I am sitting here this morning and one of my favorite people, Tara, from the chiropractic office next to me, from one of my five job locations, to update me on scheduled appointments for massage today. I want everyone to know that anyone that works with or comes in contact with an office administrator, receptionist, secretary or whatever title they choose that you should take the time to remember they are a critical part of any business and treat them kindly. Without these people you would not have that establishment to frequent. Between appointments, billing, marketing, sales, assisting they do not have a easy job. They have the job of many!

I appreciate them all good and bad days. Every location I enter I can see a busy person who multitask more then many and still has a smile after a long day. Of course you will find people in positions that are not meant for them and I strongly urge anyone that encounters this to let the establishment know. I have only worked at one place where the person at the desk was miserable and could not leave her home life home and she eventually ended up back at home permanently. Never forget the pressures everyone is under but never forget work ethics either.

Besides this I must say that I traveled to Burton to meet with another auto accident injury person and scheduled them for massages. I have met so many wonderful people in my profession I feel blessed. Auto accidents are tough. I was in one a few months ago and was whip lashed terrible. Thankfully my Total Wellness Chiropractor in Linden, Dr. Chris Acox, had me recovered and back on the road and my massage therapist worked me over too. Without them I would be a mess. Never forget your chiropractor and/or massage therapist if you are in a auto accident.

Senior massage is one of my favorites. I work at Linden Loose Center and the Burton Center and these people always bring a smile to your face. They have seen it, lived it, and many just say it as it is.I enjoy the stories and listening to their everyday adventures while decreasing there arthritis pain and improving their circulation. The staff at both these centers works so hard to keep things rolling. Loose had a which they are now fundraising to rebuild and the community really has come together to help in this. Dr. Acox let me bring in the loose members for weeks after the fire so they would not miss their massages and Hope Lutheran is still continuing with having all Loose work out classes at there church. I love seeing how many good people there really still are in this world. A huge big thank you to them all.

Everyone have a fabulous Friday and wonderful weekend! Until next time. D

Baker may be a great trade school for some but just remember that it is not transferable to anyRead More other school or university.

You need to know that if you live around children that you can control your animal. Pitbulls are theRead More most powerful dog that there is. They can jump a 4 foot tall fence. You have to consider would you let your pitbull play with a two year old? There are kids in neighborhoods that play and these dogs can overpower and chew up several adults if it desired to. There are several pitbulls in Fenton and they always snarl and bark aggressively at my 17 month old. Pitbulls seem to dislike wagons and anything on wheels on sidewalks. This is why I despise them. I don't appreciate dogs acting aggressively towards infants and I don't know why anyone would want a dog with the most powerful jaw and meanest temperament of all dogs. These dogs where breed to be vicious, strong and relentless; please don't forget that. Every pitbull owner whose dog chewed up an old lady, a baby, or others always says the same thing " he was the nicest dog, he would lick you to death."

Again, thanks for sharing your opinion. No question that every person should be a responsible petRead More owner; always have their pet under control, no matter what type of animal it is; and socialize it properly.

Thank you Karen, pitbull owners need to take very special care in "socializing" theirRead More animals and take very extreme precautions for their dogs. The average adult can fend off most breeds of dogs accept for pitbulls and children do not stand a chance. Please be aware of the uncontrollable dangers of these dogs.
