3 to 5 Inches of Snow Expected in Fenton Thursday Night

The chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

While the snow finally stopped falling Wednesday, the National Weather Service is forecasting it will come back with vengeance on Thursday night.

A total of three to five inches is expected in Fenton Thursday night into Friday. Less than one inch is expected to fall during the day after 1 p.m. and three to five additional inches are expected Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Local officials have urged residents to drive carefully as last week near white-out conditions caused several vehicles crashes in the area.

The rest of the weekend should be snow-free with partly sunny skies and a high near 29 Friday, mostly sunny skies Saturday with a high near 26 and Sunday will bring a chance of rain and snow showers with a high of 37.
