Fenton Flu Death Noted in Inside Edition Article

The wife of a Fenton man who died after having the flu shared her thoughts in a recent article by Inside Edition.

The article featured Rob Lowe, who warned hosts on The View Thursday that he was ill.

The article noted how Kirk Beauchamp, 44, of Fenton, and father of five died  days after coming down with the stomach flu.

"I just never dreamt in a thousand years that something like that could take him from us," said his wife Amy Beauchamp in the article.

Just days after Beauchamp's death, after being hospitalized with flu-like symptoms. That raised concerns among many Fenton residents

Twenty-nine states, including Michigan, are now reporting high Influeza-like illness activity, according to the Center for Disease Control.
