Whiz Kid: Jessi Kundrick, 13
School:
Accomplishment: Jessi recently received her second award from the VFW for writing an essay about patriotism. "Does Patriotism Still Matter?" was the topic and she received first place in the district, got a cool plaque, a certificate and $100 savings bond. She has a 3.7 grade point average, is on the track team as a sprinter and is a kind, considerate person.
