Salvation Army Looking for Bell Ringer Volunteers

There are almost 40 Genesee County wide locations to choose from.

Help The Salvation Army of Genesee County raise much needed funds  that  will  be  used  throughout  the  year  to  help  the  needy by volunteering to ring a bell at a Red Kettle this holiday season.

Those  interested  in volunteering may log on to www.myvolunteerpage.com to
pick  a preferred location and choose a shift date and time (Nov. 9 through Dec.  24) most convenient for them. Volunteers can sign up for one or more shifts,  and will receive a confirmation letter prior to the selected date.

There are almost 40 Genesee County wide locations to choose from. Donations collected during the Red Kettle Campaign are used to assist local families  and individuals in times of need. These funds help maintain vital human  services such as food and shelter for children and adults throughout the year.

Volunteers are also needed to organize the toy shop, help caregivers select gifts for their children and help distribute food boxes. In addition, there are  also  opportunities  to  host  Angel  Trees to collect toys, clothing, undergarments and/or personal hygiene items.

To learn more about how you can help during the holidays and throughout the year, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at (810) 232-2196 ext 227.
