Taste in Fenton Draws Thousands Downtown

The Chamber of Commerce sponsors the 11th annual event behind the Fenton Community and Cultural Center.

Many gathered for the 11th Annual “Taste in Fenton over the weekend at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center.

Sponsored by the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce, several participating restaurants, such as and , and other food vendors participated.

There was musical entertainment, fine arts and crafts to view and to purchase, and a variety of thirst-quenching libations to go with the delectable assortment of available foods. This year’s event saw the addition of a pie-eating contest, with a winning prize of $500.

Even the youngest participants kept busy with activities such as a bouncy house, put-put golf, and even a water ball contest, courtesy of the Fenton Fire Department.

Shelly Day, president of the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce stated that there are some “Taste in Fenton” visitors that come every year. “It’s like a family reunion” Day said. Let’s take a look.
