Shoe Year's Day Fresh Air Fitness Hike
Start your New Year's resolution off on the right foot by enjoying a January 1st hike at your local state park. Get wellness and exercise tips, enjoy healthy refreshments, and make your official pledge to get "Fresh Air Fit" this year. For more information go to www.michigan.gov/dnrcalendar.
A second hike is also taking place at Maybury State Park beginning at 10 am with snowshoes available for rental.
Event is free, however a Recreation Passport is required for park entrance. The $11 Recreation Passport can be purchased at any Secretary of State when renewing your license tabs, or at any state park office.
