Fenton's Project Graduation (PG-13) holds Open House, then Event, on Sunday, June 2nd

Fenton's Project Graduation (PG-13) hosts Open House, then Event, on Sunday, June 2nd for Class of 2013 Fenton High School Seniors

Local volunteers, businesses and sponsors have been working hard to support this year's Project Graduation, or PG-13 Fenton, an all-night event encouraging graduation celebration in a safe, alcohol and drug-free environment. PG-13 is being held on Sunday, June 2nd, the night of graduation, at the AGS Middle School.

Prior to the event doors being open for seniors, an open house will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Sunday. This is an opportunity for all supporters and the general public to see what was created for the 280+ Fenton graduates on the night of their graduation.

The open house includes a walk through and guest speaker Shelly Day, President of the Fenton area Chamber of Commerce, kicking off the event.

PG-13 is modeled after the National Grad Night Network established by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Students are “locked in” at the school party from 9 p.m. Sunday evening June 2nd to 5 a.m. Monday morning June 3rd, pledging not to leave and giving up keys to designated parental volunteers.

The fun-filled event includes a variety of activities from laser tag, casino games, arcade and video games, DJ, rock wall, movies, an endless supply of food and drinks, and new this year - an Oxygen bar! Also, large prizes are raffled off such as televisions, tablets, mini-fridges and other fun and useful items. Each graduate receives a goody bag with items to help start them off on their future endeavors.
