Volunteers at wanted to help make sure children in need in the area had a chance to get an Easter basket.
A group gathered at the church Thursday morning to put together around 100 baskets filled with candy, eggs, toys and even a toothbrush.
"Families are thrilled. They are so thankful," said organizer Teri Sydenstricker. "And we are happy to share the joy of Easter."
This is the third year volunteers have gathered to put together and donate the baskets for third to eighth graders in the Fenton, Linden and Holly areas.
"It's a community effort and it's fun giving back," Sydenstricker said.
