Best Kept Shopping Secret: Fenton's Tractor Supply Store

Before I moved to Fenton, I lived in the city.  I shopped at big malls, fought epic traffic jams and only touched dirt with gloves on.  My husband could make popsicle sticks grow on our city lot. I couldn't stand worms.

That first Christmas, I was a caregiver and very limited in my radius of travel. That is how I discovered Tractor Supply, which was then located on Fenton Road. I remember the delight of family and friends when they got my gifts...but, I kept the secret of their origins to myself.  Why? Well, it was because I didn't want to lose the element of surprise and I didn't want to suffer....lack of supply. How silly is that?

Year after year, I have taken the gift lists and of course my own "idonthaveaclue" what to buy hopes, and shopped at Tractor Supply. The location by Target is a gold mine of wonders.  I never leave that store empty handed, and sometimes have to make two trips to my car. 

Let me just tell you about the employees at Tractor Supply. Without exception, they are the nicest group of people you could ever wish to meet.  When I need help, they take the time, yes, I said, take the time to help.  As a customer I feel like royalty and have even gotten a phone call call when what I was looking for was not immediately available...they would look for it.  How many times have you gotten a call when something couldn't be found...with an apology? This former city girl can really appreciate that for the rare treat it is.

I chose now to write about this lovely store, because, tada, all my Christmas gift money is now spent at Tractor Supply. On what, you wonder?  Ok, I have filled the closets with not only well made useful clothes..but, the cutest styles and the best boots I ever owned. My Columbia ski coat and great gloves are now years old, and look like new. Extended sizes for the men in my life and a shopping cart full of items to buy for that hard to buy for person.

The heaters that serve our garage and sunroom....yup, Tractor Supply. Pet items and useful and decorative accents....bought and paid for....Tractor Supply.  John Deere is my hero, says my jammies.  They have the most unusual surprising things.

Today, my best friend is coming from the city where I used to live and she is wild about going to .....you guessed it right.....Tractor Supply!  Before she goes home and tells all the mall princesses on her block where to find the best deals and products...maybe you want to take a little peek  ;>...she won't leave much behind.
