Loose Center Upcoming Events

The Loose Center has many ongoing and special events and programs. Read further for specifics on some featured upcoming opportunities.

LOOSE CENTER UPCOMING EVENTS

On top of the many regular Loose activities, the Center has some very special events coming the week of October 29, they are as follows:


Medicare Open Enrollment, If there is a possibility that  you will make changes in your Medicare Part D, please contact Loose and set up an appointment with a MMAP counselor to explore the options or just to review your current plan. Tuesday, October 30 a counselor will be on site all day. Call Loose at 735-9406 to schedule an appointment.


Trunk or Treat, Halloween night, October 31, the Loose staff and Loose members will have their vehicles decorated and set up in the Loose parking lot, located at 707 North Bridge Street, to share in the Halloween fun. Stop by between 5:30 and 7:30 and join in on the fun. 


Dinner with guest speaker John Niemiec, U.S. Army Corp of Enginees, Project Manager for the Soo Locks will be held at Loose on Friday, November 2 at 5 pm. Dinner will be delicious and the speaker exceptional, space is still available, call Loose for details.


Beginning Monday, November 5 at 7 pm, Karaoke will be held at Loose each Monday (with the exception of holidays). Open to everyone, feel free to come and share your talent or come and listen and enjoy the talents of others.

You need to know that if you live around children that you can control your animal. Pitbulls are theRead More most powerful dog that there is. They can jump a 4 foot tall fence. You have to consider would you let your pitbull play with a two year old? There are kids in neighborhoods that play and these dogs can overpower and chew up several adults if it desired to. There are several pitbulls in Fenton and they always snarl and bark aggressively at my 17 month old. Pitbulls seem to dislike wagons and anything on wheels on sidewalks. This is why I despise them. I don't appreciate dogs acting aggressively towards infants and I don't know why anyone would want a dog with the most powerful jaw and meanest temperament of all dogs. These dogs where breed to be vicious, strong and relentless; please don't forget that. Every pitbull owner whose dog chewed up an old lady, a baby, or others always says the same thing " he was the nicest dog, he would lick you to death."

Thank you Karen, pitbull owners need to take very special care in "socializing" theirRead More animals and take very extreme precautions for their dogs. The average adult can fend off most breeds of dogs accept for pitbulls and children do not stand a chance. Please be aware of the uncontrollable dangers of these dogs.
