Couple Sent to Hospital After Car Crashes into Tree on Owen Road
Man appeared to be suffering from medical condition, police say.
Rescue crews transported a Byron couple to Genesys Regional Medical Center after a car crashed into a tree Tuesday morning.
officer Carla Feamster said a man who was suffering from a medical problem and later complained of chest pains was traveling east on Owen Road when his vehicle left the roadway near Auto Zone and crashed head-on into a tree around 11:30 a.m.
The couple, who were both wearing seatbelts, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Feamster said.
