Crime Report: Police Investigating Breaking and Entering Incident

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fenton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police are investigating a breaking and entering case that occurred July 31 on the 1100 block of Parallel Street.

Homeowners reported they had been out of town for the week and returned to find their home had been broken into and several items were missing including three computers and a Playstation 3.

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said police believe the sliding glass door at the rear of the home was used for entry. He said the motion lights in the backyard had been disabled, leading police to believe the suspects had exited the rear of the home with the property.

Police collected evidence including fingerprints, but have no suspects.

A man reported more than $1,000 worth of property missing from his truck to on July 28.

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said the man told police he parked his car in front of his residence on the 1400 block of Ward Street for a few days before he noticed someone had entered the locked truck and stolen a large amount of property out of the truck and bed.

Aro said officers observed marks around the window frame, which indicated someone had used a slim jim lock pick or similar tool to gain entry.

Police have no suspects.
