Crime Report: Several Items Stolen from Fenton's Freedom Center

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fenton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police are searching for suspects in a breaking and entering incident at the

Chief Rick Aro said church officials told police that multiple music and entertainment items came up missing sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 3 and 7:45 a.m. Jan. 4.

Officers determined the entry point was the south side of the building, which was under construction, and it appeared there were footprints from two individuals, Aro said.

Police have no suspects. Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around that time is encouraged to call the Fenton Police Department at 810-629-5311.

Police received that someone was using a BB or pellet gun to shoot at moving vehicles on Poplar Street near Silver Lake Road.

An officer responded to one of those complaints around 3:50 p.m. on Jan. 2 and saw someone in a nearby apartment who appeared to be holding a gun, Aro said. The officer contacted the individual and after an investigation developed two suspects, 18-year-old and 24-year-old Fenton men, who were then taken to the Fenton Police Department, where they confessed to shooting out several windows.

Police confiscated the pellet gun and have requested a warrant for destruction or property.

Theft from a vehicle

Police are searching for suspects in an incident of missing auto parts from on Silver Parkway.

Store officials told police two catalytic converters were taken from two vehicles between Dec. 20 and Jan.3.

Breaking and entering

A 64-year-old Fenton man told police that $25 in change came up missing from his residence on the 200 block of Trealout Drive sometime between 1 and 7 p.m. Jan. 5.

Aro said the rear sliding glass door had been left open, but no evidence was found.

Police have no suspects.
