Man Ejected from Vehicle in Rollover Accident on US-23

Police are reporting a 34-year-old Flint resident suffered serious injuries in the crash.

Rescue crews transported a 34-year-old Flint man with serious injuries to Genesys Regional Medical Center Friday morning after a rollover accident on US-23 South, south of Owen Road in Fenton.

Officer Carla Feamster said the driver of the vehicle indicated a car had cut in front of the vehicle around 7 a.m., causing the driver to slam on the brakes and veer to the shoulder of the road. The car then rolled once before hitting the embankment.

The Flint man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, Feamster said. She added that he was conscious and alert when transported to the hospital.
