Fire Department Exceeds Goal in Blood Drive

The Fenton Fire Department collected nearly 60 units of blood Friday.

The hosted its fifth annual Red Cross Blood Drive from noon to 6 p.m. Friday at the fire station, 205 E. Caroline St. in Fenton.

Deputy Chief Ed Hadfield said the department collected 57 units of blood.

"Everything went well," Hadfield said. "We exceeded our goal."
