Police Blotter: Breaking and Entering, Larceny and Drug Collection

Here is a look into the city of Fenton police action from Friday to Tuesday.

A Fenton resident reported a breaking and entering into a home Friday on the 800 block of Worchester Drive, police said.

Chief Rick Aro said an officer met with the homeowner and discovered that the suspect had broken into the shed and used tools to get into the patio door of the house.

The homeowner reported three rings missing, which were valued at $600.

Police collected evidence and are investigating the case.

Larceny

Police are investigating complaint of larceny from a building at Shoemaker Services, 380 South Fenway Dr.

Business officials reported that someone had removed five feet of copper pipe and other copper and brass fixtures sometime between November and April.

Police have no suspects.

Prescription drug collection

Fenton Police collected 54 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs in a drug disposal event Saturday.

The drugs will be turned over the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to be destroyed.

“Thanks to the community, it was a successful event,” Aro said.
