Police Blotter: Damaged Vehicle, Stolen Laptop

These were incidents reported to the Fenton Police Department in the past week.

A Brighton woman reported to Fenton police that her 2008 Saturn View was broken into on Monday in the 100 block of North Adelaide.

Accoding to police, the incident occurred between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle, and there are currently no suspects.

Damage to the vehicle was estimated to be $200.

Theft of Computer

A Fenton man reported to police that a Sony Vaio laptop was stolen Tuesday afternoon from his unlocked 2008 Ford Explorer.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on the 200 block of Meadow Point Drive, where the vehicle was parked in the man's driveway.

The computer – which was left on the passenger-side floorboard of the vehicle – is valued at $510. There are currently no suspects in the theft.
