Police Blotter: Home Invasion

Woman reports jewelry missing from Fenton home.

Police responded to a reported home invasion at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 9 on the 400 block of North Walnut Street, said Chief Rick Aro.

Aro said a 52-year-old woman reported she returned home around 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 and found jewelry and a large amount of cash missing. Aro said officers found no obvious point of forced entry.

Aro said the woman reported that some of the jewelry allegedly stolen were pieces that came from her former boyfriend. According to the report, she told police other pieces of jewelry in the same area had not been stolen and that the relationship with the former boyfriend had ended five years ago.
