Chief Rick Aro said employees arrived for work around 5:45 a.m. to find a broken window in a work van and a door to the business that had been forced open.

Aro said employees reported two computers missing, along with a bottle of whiskey from a desk drawer and an automotive scanning tool. Aro said employees were unsure if other items had been taken as well.

Aro said officers did recover some evidence from the location and detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

Resdential break-in

Police are also investigating a reported breaking and entering incident that occurred on the 1000 block of Worchester Drive last month.

Aro said a man reported Feb. 3 that he was in the hospital from Jan.5 until Jan. 10 and during that time his home was broken into and his laptop computer, an Xbox 360 and other items were missing. The missing items were valued at $2200, Aro said.

Aro said the man reported that his girlfriend told the him she was going to pick up the computer to bring it to him and she allegedly never returned. Aro said officers obtained the girlfriend’s name, but couldn’t find a residence.

The case remains under investigation.
