Pre-Trial and Trial in Fenton Township Shooting Moved to Oct. 2 and 5

David Eddie Collins, 23, of Flint, has been charged after April 14 incident at home on Linden Road in Fenton Township.

Today's for the Fenton Township shooting case has been adjourned to Oct. 2 and Oct. 5, along with the trial. It is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. both days, at the Genesee County Courthouse.

David Eddie Collins, 23, of Flint, has been charged with after police say he was involved in a shooting at a Fenton Township home on April 14.

The pre-trial hearing was scheduled for today, in Judge Joseph Farah's court room, after being moved from June 16.

Judge Mark McCabe bound the case to 7th Circuit Court on May 16, when testified Collins entered his home, demanded money and shot him in the hip. The alleged incident occurred in the 13000 block of Linden Road.
